Landforms and Soil

This online course is designed to give teachers an introduction to the surface processes that shape the geosphere. Teachers will exit the course with a greater understanding of the rock cycle; how erosion, weathering and deposition shape the land; and the importance of soil to the Earth system. The course will also emphasize methods of inquiry-based teaching about these aspects of the geosphere to middle school students.
